“God puts people and circumstances in our life for a reason!”

We all have a purpose in life that benefits others. Whether we allow God to use us to fulfill that purpose or not is up to us as individuals. Wrong choices, laziness and even fear can veer us away from what we were created to be. No one is perfect, but we must strive to be our best and we have to work hard and not sit around waiting for something to fall in our laps! We should try to use all of our mishaps along the way to learn and grow.

We should know that, “What are the things at which I am good at? What brings me joy?” I should be honest about my circumstances, how they have shaped me as a person. Are they there to show me my purpose? What am I afraid of?
Not everyone was created to be a rock star or a pro athlete and it’s not about money. I remember an example about a hammer. A hammer was created to pound nails. That hammer can be used to hit and destroy
things, even to harm others. It can be used to hold a window or door open. It can sit useless in a toolbox. But, it was still created to pound nails and that’s what its “creator” had in mind when he made that hammer.
It’s pretty simple. Look for the obvious, AND BELIEVE!

LESSON FROM SAND TIMER!

You know, there are a couple of question that always have the same answer. Where are you? What time is it? If a person is telling you the truth they’ll always answer, “I’m here” and “It’s now.” But we waste an awful lot of our lives living in the imagined future or the dead past. We keep a Sand Timer in front of us and think about this for a moment: If we let the sand in the glass represent our lifetime, the sand on the top of the glass would represent the future and the sand in the bottom of the glass would represent the past. And we have no idea how much sand we have left in the top of the glass. Let's take couple of examples. There was a old lady aged 70 years and she used to say that, “I’ll soon be gone, I’ll soon be gone.” And do you know something? Everyone thought she was never going to go. She lived to be ninety years and the angels just came and took her away one night in her sleep. She thought she had just a little sand, but she actually had a lot. Let's ...

DETACH AND LET GO!

Detach from the physical world. Be part of the daily activity of life but not enslaved by it. Do not allow your happiness or peace of mind to depend on anything outside of your spirit including the acquisition of material things, the attainment of fulfilling relationships, or the approval or agreement of others. If you are attached to striving to control what you actually cannot in an attempt to achieve joy and a sense of well-being, you are forever doomed . Let go of the need for such manipulation, and do not waste time lamenting or suffering over what is not going your way-nor clinging to notions that circumstances should be other than what they are. Life is what it is. You may have your preferences and choose to create something else if you do not like what you are experiencing, but do not squander hours agonizing over what is not going your way.
